After a mysterious alien 'pod' landed in the school grounds early on Tuesday morning, every class was inspired to do some literacy and science work about it!
KS1 did lots of activities including making up their own alien language using their phonics and creating pictures of what they thought the aliens could look like.
Year 3 learnt how to write non-chronological reports about the planet where it might have come from.
Year 4 typed up some letters to the aliens in ICT persuading them to invade a different planet.
Year 6 learnt how to do journalistic writing and filmed their own news report on the pod landing.

Wow indeed!
What a strange thing to happen at Paarkfield! Luckily it gave you something to talk about and some fantastic work was done as a result. Well done everyone.
Now all you need to worry about is the mystery in the library!!
