Year 2 had a fabulous time visiting Salford Museum today. They: learnt about how Victorians used to wash their clothes and clean candle stick holders, played with some traditional Victorian children's toys and were given a guided tour around a reconstructed Victorian street to find out about all the different types of shops that were on it.

We had a fabulous day year 2. You look great on this video. Thankyou to Mr. Haughton for compiling these photos. Everybody was a credit to Parkfield. From Mrs Smith.

It was the best trip ever! I liked the Victorian street best because it really looks like a Victorian street, especially the Magpie on the lampost. Also the bricks on wall and the cobbles on the road looked very realistic. I thought that the Pennyfarthing looked hard to ride.It was good because it was Charles Dickens 200th Birthday.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
